Workshop Description
This workshop is geared toward international students studying in Germany who plan on applying for employment opportunities in Germany, in English or German. Students are introduced to the application process in Germany and particularities with applying for work in Germany, including differences between English-language and German-language applications. The bulk of the workshop is centered on equipping students with the knowledge necessary for drafting a resume that speaks to German employers.

What Students Will Accomplish
By the end of this workshop, students will understand what is expected in a resume in Germany and how to write one that is an accurate reflection of their experiences, abilities, and goals. They will learn how to adopt a method for crafting unique resumes that speeds up the application process, and strategies for applying in English in Germany. Last, they’ll be provided with information about important next steps after they’ve completed their resume.
