Workshop Description
Many German universities are working to recruit international students and retain them in the local labor market through newly established international career services (ICS) or specialized career services for international students.
Many of these ICS struggle with attracting students to events they offer and/or in getting students to attend. If you are an administrator with the goal of helping students achieve academic success at university and integrate into the German labor market, this workshop will help you reach excellent attendance rates and awesome feedback from students.

Foundational concepts of online and offline marketing to international students in Germany
Getting access to international students and understanding their needs
Designing and developing an events schedule that continuously attracts students

This workshop is for international offices, career services, and other student support departments who need assistance in getting international students motivated to attend (and actually show up) for events. The development of this course stemmed from a need expressed by (international) career services offices struggling to develop events that students attended and enjoyed.
